Singapore has a high duty on alcohol, but hey — add $10 for duty & shipping and you should get very good wines for $25, right? Real estate and manpower costs conspire to make any wine of a decent quality a lot more expensive than it should.
Home delivery is our bread and butter — our central location in a warehouse keeps delivery overheads low, while being very cost efficient as compared to the smallest of stores in a mall. A mixed retail and wholesale business model gives us the ability to source hidden gems at excellent prices and offer great deals to direct buyers. We buy direct from the wine-makers, focussing on family owned & run vineyards that we can work closely with, to bring products that make sense for the market here. We’ve worked hard and carved a niche for carrying hidden gems that taste great and are a positive surprise on the pricing.
The small, fun loving team strongly believes in word of the mouth publicity and shuns ad-spend or sponsorship — we’d much rather give you a better value on the wine you buy :) We love what we sell — and refuse to carry a wine that we do not like — howsoever enticing the economics be. Do come visit us on the Saturdays we pop open a couple of bottles for tasting! You’re very welcome to pop by for a chat! (but do email us beforehand — we’re overhead-lite, so no dedicated salespeople!) Planning a party, need to rent glasses, or, wine on consignment? Just give us a shout and we’ll help you figure out the best solution. We frequently do private & corporate tasting sessions, gift orders and wedding supplies.
Just outside of Renwick, in Marlborough, the Forrest family has been crafting wines since the late 1980s. Returning to family roots and generations of farming in the Marlborough region seemed a natural progression for John and Brigid Forrest, after successful careers in scientific research and medicine.
Fast forward 30 years; many awards and accolades, various labels and vineyards across the country.
Pioneers in the Marlborough wine industry since 1988, John and Brigid Forrest– both doctors in their own right – kept asking ‘what’s next?’. Success came with the 2006 vintage Riesling, planting the seed for the innovative Sauvignon Blanc in 2009 and Rosé and Pinot Noir, a world first at 9.5% alcohol, in 2017. Their unique combination of scientific minds, creative souls and a desire to challenge the status quo has created wines for the modern world. “We are thinking about the future of wine drinking and we are also thinking about the next day. Our wines are for socialising and enjoying with friends, but still staying sharp.”
The Doctors’ are impeccably structured, full flavoured, lower alcohol lifestyle wines, with no compromises in the wine growing process and – more importantly – no compromises to your wine drinking experience.
Another Forrest label. Great value, good drinking wines.
Cocooned by mountains on all sides, the Waitaki Valley wine-growing region lies 40km inland from the Pacific Ocean, stretching a mere 20km between Duntroon and Kurow on the southern flanks of the Waitaki River. Here, gentle north-facing slopes allow successful viticulture similar to Central Otago, with 1000 plus growing degree days. Unique to the region however, are the soils - free-draining river gravels, inter-layered with ancient limestone seabed. This combination of unique soil and climate gives Waitaki Valley wines their own distinctive personality; while still reflecting characteristics typical of Otago.
Forrest’s premium range . They are one man’s pursuit to make the best wines, from the best vineyard sites, made in small parcels from the best vintages, which express their unique terroir. The brand was launched in 2005 and has since grown into a formidable selection with excellent pedigree.

In 1991, two intrepid travellers set off from the UK across Africa in their trusty Land Rover named Stanley. This was the start of an epic journey across the world to find a place where they could call home.
‘The land of the long white cloud’, Aotearoa, filled their dreams, a land of a new adventures, pastures new, a place to put down roots and immerse themselves in their new home, The Awatere Valley, Marlborough.
With a passion for horticulture, sustainability and guardianship of the land for future generations, the pair set out to grow a vineyard where their philosophy could flourish and express themselves in wine.
In keeping with their passion for adventure, Stanley Estates was born, resulting in an exciting and extensive range of single vineyard, award winning wines.

The journey, with Stoney River, brings to the surface the clarity of vision, purity of intention, the flow of inspiration to produce a range of highly respected and captivating wines that entice and enchant while, equally as important, respecting the environment.
Inherent in each vintage is the constancy of quality from the vines, specialist skills of the winemakers, and the belief that the precious gifts we receive from the land and life-giving water is a direct result of what we give back.
This reinforces the commitment to sustainability, ensuring that what is best for the vintage is also essential for the environment.

Bushmere Estate is 100% family owned by the Egan family. They have been growing grapes for over 40 years. During this time there have been huge changes in the industry, from the growing of bulk grapes to the quality world class wines that are now attributed to the Gisborne area.
The vineyard is 17 hectares in the Central Valley Region of Gisborne District, growing mainly Chardonnay grapes, along with smaller plantings of Merlot, Malbec , Pinot Gris, Montepulciano and Sangiovese.
The name Bushmere Estate was chosen as the area was referred to as ‘Bushmere’ on old maps of the district. The Bushmere logo represents the three elements vital to the growing of grapes – earth, water and sun.
