...that Sauvignon Blanc (mainly from the Marlborough region) from New Zealand is the most imported wine style in Australia? In fact, more than 30% of all wine produced in NZ are Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. 5. Did you know...
...that Sauvignon Blanc was one of the first wines to be bottled with a screw cap since it was previously designed to be consumed young and immediately after being bought? It’s also one of the very few wines that goes well with sushi, especially the light Marlborough SB’s since they have a more tropical fruit undertones, with citrus and passion fruit notes. In general it ia a wine that pair well. Just remember this – if you can squeeze lemon on it, you can pair it with a Sauvignon Blanc!
