Manu is the Maori word for bird. For the winemaker, the kite represents the standard of excellence they aspire to with their winemaking. They are not only committed to bringing you the best tasting wines but are committed to continually improving their craft so that their wines are more sustainable, and their business more environmentally responsible.
Soft pale-pink with the slightest purple hues. The nose is subtle showing delicate aromas of raspberries and cherries, quince and fragrant flowers. There is a remarkable balance of delicacy and fruit intensity on the palate. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is bright and vibrant, with refreshing acidity balanced by the fruit sweetness and very fine textures.
