Manu is the Maori word for bird. For the winemaker, the kite represents the standard of excellence they aspire to with their winemaking. They are not only committed to bringing you the best tasting wines but are committed to continually improving their craft so that their wines are more sustainable, and their business more environmentally responsible.
Light ruby-red in colour with purple hues, lighter on the rim, youthful in appearance. The bouquet is beautifully perfumed displaying red and black cherry, spice and vanillin oak with a hint of dried herbs. It’s silky smooth and generously textured on the palate with a rounded mouth feel and gentle, firm finish. This wine is immensely appealing and drinkable with excellent fruit intensity and a lovely complexity.
