Yes, we love Rosé! They’re fresh, they’re exciting, they’re trendy and they’re just so pretty. And no, we are not talking about the sweet white Zinfandel ones that gave pink wines a bad reputation in the 80’s! We are referring to these crisp, bright and fruit driven drops that have gained so much popularity in the last couple of years.

If you you’re not convinced yet here are 4 more reasons why you should be drinking Rosé this summer.

It’s incredibly versatile!

Any occasion pairs well with a Rosé! Because Rosé falls in between the extremes of red and white — it’s less intense than a big, tannic, full red, but has more depth and complexity than

a super-light white wine. You can serve it alongside everything from a picnic lunch to grilled meat and seafood, brunch or a fruity dessert. Heck, even with pizza or just with a good book on your patio it tastes fantastic.

Varieties are endless!

Rosés can be made from any red grape variety – mixing red and white grapes is not how you usually make Rosé! (it’s even illegal in many European wine regions) – So for every kind of red wine grape, there's a Rosé (don’t forget about blends!) so that means endless variations and a Rosé to please every palate. So if anyone thinks they don't like Rosé, they just haven't met the right one.

It doesn’t play by the rules

Here’s something interesting about Rosé. While we are trained to think aged wines are better with Rosé the exact opposite is true.

Rosé, unlike red wine and Meryl Streep, does not improve over the years — these wines are meant to be enjoyed young and fresh, so don't stash them in the basement for a rainy day in five years - drink them tout de suite.

Singapore, famous for endless hot summer evenings has the perfect climate to enjoy a Rosé. There’s nothing better than sitting back with a glass of crisp, fresh cold Rosé in your hand.
